Account Terms & Responsible License Use

1. Account Terms

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement to create an account. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account is your responsibility.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• One account per individual or business entity. Sharing accounts is not permitted.

Account Suspension

Awn Creel reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or attempt to circumvent licensing restrictions.

Data Use

Your name and email are used solely to manage your account, deliver licensed files, and communicate order updates. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Payment is handled by Stripe — Awn Creel does not store card details.

2. Responsible License Use

Tier 1 — Non-Exclusive ($150–$500)

• 1–2 product types, up to 5,000 units, 1–2 year term.
• Non-exclusive: Awn Creel may license the same design to others.
• Attribution required where applicable.

Tier 2 — Standard Commercial ($1,000–$5,000 + 5–10% royalty)

• Multiple product categories, 5,000–50,000 units, 2–3 year term.
• Non-exclusive rights. Royalty applies per unit sold.
• No attribution required.

Tier 3 — Semi-Exclusive ($3,000–$10,000 + 6–12% royalty)

• Exclusive within one product category (e.g., apparel only), 10,000–100,000 units, 2–3 year term.
• Awn Creel may still license the design in other categories during the term.

Tier 4 — Full Exclusive ($10,000–$25,000+ + 8–15% royalty)

• All product categories, unlimited units, 1–3 year term.
• Full exclusivity — Awn Creel will not license the same design to any other party during the term.

Tier 5 — Buyout / Full Rights ($5,000–$50,000+)

• Full or near-full rights transfer, permanent exclusivity, no ongoing royalties.
• Priced higher due to loss of recurring licensing revenue.
• Requires a separate buyout agreement before files are delivered.

What is never permitted under any license

• Claiming authorship or original ownership of the pattern.
• Reselling, redistributing, or sublicensing the raw pattern file.
• Including the pattern in AI training datasets or generative model pipelines.
• Using patterns in content that is defamatory, illegal, or harmful.

Enforcement

Misuse of a license may result in immediate revocation, removal of download access, and legal action where appropriate. If you are unsure whether your use case is covered, contact us before purchase.

3. Changes to These Terms

Awn Creel may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of your account or purchased licenses after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Significant changes will be communicated by email.
